I am back.

So, I have had an adventure. I have not gone to explore the harsh mountainside to find a bear for breakfast. No no!

I am have been a waiter. Not the most exciting job, I must say. But it is when you are serving the year thirteens of your house.  (The highest year in Gordonstoun)

This was because they were having a dinner. Just before the end of the term, we were given wooden plaques to hand over to the year thirteen girls that were invited and kiss them after giving them the invitation. This was fun. I invited the now current house captain’s girlfriend. This was how we invited them to the house dinner.

So the night came, It started with us getting into uniform *Black shoes, White shirt with a collar, black trousers and they would give us a bow tie*. Then We met up, discussed what we were going to do. I was going to help set the table by placing alcohol on it.

as I am an expert.

there were many jobs like how some year nines had to get on a bus and go out and they would open the door and let the guest come on. There were the people at the front door greeting people and taking their coats. Where they were escorted across to a little room as we set up the table.

We then had time to relax. So we went into Mr Baird’s house part of the house and watched a film. I will not mention the name of the film. But thought it would be fun giving a vague description of the film to help you try and guess. (you can comment on what you think the film is and I may answer down there or in the next blog.)

The film is: Animals in a city that has a society and lives in harmony and there is a police bunny.

We would hop from the film to work to film to work.

Meanwhile, in the little pen room, they were given alcohol and were keeping each other company as the food was being made.

When the starters were ready they were brought into the dining room and we started serving. We had to give the food on the right and take it from the left.

After watching more of the film we then had to serve the main corse. It looked really good.
