I am so tired I can hardly write, and so probably I am not going to, at least not much.
I am educated, at least more so than yesterday. I am educated and inspired. I have even learned a new word, it is heteroglossia. This does not mean glossias that like glossias of the opposite sex, which is the obvious interpretation. It means many voices, like when all the children come to visit at once.
It is brilliant.I have had such an amazing time. Cambridge is such a magnificent place. They are so clever and teach you so many interesting things. The chap who wrote Lincoln in the Bardo was the most fantastic lecturer, funny and clever and fascinating and I was sorry I couldn’t make any sense of his book. He said it didn’t matter because lots of people couldn’t, although he spoilt it a bit by adding that probably you just needed to be clever.
We have had lectures all day, from first thing this morning until the last one finished at ten. I am almost too tired to look at the screen.
I am going to sleep so that I can go back tomorrow.
I will have to write properly then.
