Morning everybody.
Internet issues yesterday meant there wasn’t a post, also that I wasted half of the day on the telephone to the web provider trying to understand what on earth he was talking about. I liked him, he was a nice boy, and we had plenty of chance to make one another’s acquaintance. In fact whilst he was busy bashing his keyboard I took other calls on my mobile, one of which was from Mark to discuss some share tips we had been given by One Who Knows.
When I got off the phone to Mark the internet chap said: I wouldn’t buy Bitcoin. They’re too volatile for me.
Anyway, it was all very tiresome and troubling, apart from the nice internet chap, and the upshot of it was that the site was migrated to a new cupboard in the web host’s store room, and I couldn’t have it back until this morning when it had settled in.
The problem, I have been told, is that it is such a massive website it takes ages to do anything with it.
I hadn’t thought of it as massive, but I suppose it is. I have been writing in it for almost ten years, which must mean it is chasing Wikipedia in terms of reams of the mighty Internet swallowed up with dubious nonsense.
Anyway, it will be back tonight.
